Reinvention

Change comes and it is, for me, an invitation to creativity. We get to reinvent ourselves and our lives if we accept the invitation. Some artists and designers are masters at reinvention, keeping a fresh perspective and a continuing evolution with each new creation.

Madonna is a great example of this. She is the first artist to have charted 50 number 01 hits on the dance charts and the artist well known for consistent reinvention of her image and her music.

Many designers have been icons of a particular time period, but a few have stood the test of time with consistent creative energy that resulted in fashion evolution. Today I want to take inspiration from those creative icons who evolve over time and continue to offer a fresh, beautiful aesthetic that we want to embrace again and again. That is the feeling I am holding close to my heart.
